dont say The devil made me do it
Yeah often time, when we sinned, we would blame others and say, "The devil made me do it." But did we ever think that it's still our own wrong doing? That it was still a product of our choice and decision? People nowadays are blinded with other things--money, material things and other priorities that they would sometime neglect their spiritual responsibilities. Let us not forget that without God, we will not be in the very land that we're standing right now. I admit I'm not perfect, I'm just human but I'm really thankful that God had been always there for me, that he have always accepted me despite my imperfections and unworthiness.
"For God's grace is immeasurable, His mercy is inexhaustible, His peace is inexpressible."
To better understand what is Grace, Mercy and Peace, I want to share the meaning of this 3 words to all. I got it from the daily bread.
Grace--is what our holy God gives that we, as sinful people, don't deserve. His gifts include our very own next breath. Even in the darkest hour, strength is given by God so that we can endure.
Mercy--is what God withholds that we deserve. Even when we're wayward, God gives time for us to turn back to Him.
Peace-- is what God brings to His people. Even in the worst of times, we have inner tranquility because our God is in control.
And also I would like to share this thought to all the Christians out there, specifically to Roman Catholics. I pondered this during a mass and kept by heart the important points the celebrant had mentioned. So why do we go to church during Sundays? There are reasons.. As they say, everything happens for a reason. We go to mass on Sundays for four things, it's not to have a date or for other motives but it is for:
*Redemption- an element of salvation to express deliverance from sin
*Resurrection- to celebrate's Christ's coming back to life
*Reunion- being reunited with our Creator, being with our family and loved ones
*Gratitude-thanksgiving, thanking God for all the blessings and just for the gift of life
It is important to go to Church every Sunday. It's our day with God. It's Sabbath day-- time to rest and just be with God.
And don't forget this--ASAP, not as soon as possible but Always Say A Prayer-- it's our very own communication to the one who loves us the most.
God bless us all!:)
